Attention all Girls Age 5 to 17 
Do you want to play T-Ball/Coach Pitch Softball?  Come play with your friends at our  Franklin Girls Softball Fields   

The Girls Softball Association of Franklin is seeking girls age 5 to 8 to play 12 softball games in Franklin in April and May.  Come learn the exciting and fun game of softball with other girls from your school or neighborhood. Our fields are just a few miles away behind Franklin High School on

Don’t wait.  Signups to play games in April and May are going on right now. 

Returning Players may mail in registration:
Returning players may register early by simply mailing registration with a check to our PO Box.  Also, recruit a girl that has never played and receive a $10.00 refund.  Details at registration.

In-Person Registration for returning and new players is Saturday Feb 5  and 12 from 9am until 1pm:  

 We will be taking registrations in person at the main lobby of Columbia State Community College located beside Franklin High School on Hillsboro Road. 

NEW PLAYERS, PLEASE BRING A BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR VERIFICATION. 

Cost: Only $96.00 for the entire season.  Have Two Girls? Cost is $177.00.  Three Girls total cost is $238.00 

includes game shirt, cap, and socks. Financial Aid is available and we will work with you so can spread the payments if you cannot pay all at once.

What is the GSAF?

The Girls Softball Association of Franklin is a non-profit organization, founded in 1989 for one thing only: girl’s softball, slow pitch and fast pitch. The GSAF is run completely by the parents of our players, providing Franklin area girls, ages 5-17, an opportunity to participate in an organized athletic activity.

About Spring Softball:

The GSAF organizes recreational underhand softball teams and windmill fast pitch softball teams to play other recreational teams in Williamson County .  The Williamson County Parks and Recreation, under the direction of Gordon Hampton , provides all the fields to play on and coordinates all the games, umpires and an end-of-season County Tournament .

Practice is twice a week from March 3 to March 28 at our ball fields directly behind Franklin High School on Hillsboro Road. There are approximately 11 to 13 games between March 31 & May 22, one weeknight and one Saturday game each week.

For all groups all Saturday games between other GSAF Teams will be played at the GSAF Softball Fields behind Franklin High School and weeknight games between other county teams played at Fly Park behind Trinity Elementary School or our fields.

There is an optional free County Tournament , with a two game minimum, running between May 26th and June 6th.

Player Age Brackets Age is determined by age as of January 01-2011
6U = T-Ball/Coach Pitch
8U = Coach Pitch
GIRL SLOW PITCH: 10U, 12U,& 14U and 17U
GIRL FAST PITCH: 10U, 12U, & 14U

Coaches Needed: We need and welcome the moms and dads to help coach our girls.
